POLICIES AND PROCEDURES ROOM A-4

Room Line up in two lines if door is closed Come in if door is open Teacher dismisses you, not the bell Clean up area while packing up Push in chair Recycle paper, cans and bottles in front of room Plain water only allowed on desk

Standards & Date The date is written on the whiteboard at the front of the classroom The standards we are focusing are written directly below the date Homework is written on the left side of the whiteboard Test make-ups are written near the homework

Recycle All my trash cans are for TRASH!! Recycle should be put in the black boxes at the front of the classroom One box for paper, the other for bottles and cans Don’t mix them up!!!!

Lost and Found If you find anything that has been left behind, do not give it to me…put it in the lost and found basket! Exceptions are anything valuable, those you give directly to me The basket is located by the door.

Library Check out books before school, lunch, nutrition, after school Can check out a book during appropriate times during class with teacher’s permission

Absences Papers you missed will be in labeled magazine holders on supply table Check absence binder for list of activities you missed and homework If you need clarification, ask a classmate Once you have done all of above and you still don’t understand then ask Mrs. Kaupp

If you didn’t receive credit for assignment you “know” you turned in Check the “no name” basket Check your backpack Check all your binders Check at home Talk to Mrs. Kaupp

Supplies Supply desk at the side of the room Please return all supplies in good order Dictionary and Thesaurus in Library

Lost Handouts Any extras are put in a magazine holder on the supply desk filed under the date they were distributed If there isn’t a copy there, I cannot make you another The “lost and found” basket is in the library near the door. Check there first if you lost something

Bathroom Go during a non-class time If there is an emergency, use the bathroom passes Any unused passes will receive estra credit at the end of the quarter
