Breakdown Who are you? Why should I want you in my class? Convince me! Minimum of 200 words

Dear Student, I am excited to potentially have you in class this year. Even though you have a lot of teachers to choose from, I hope that you decide to choose me. I think I would be a great teacher for you. I try to include a lot of choice in my classroom, which will give you some freedom when it comes to what and how you’re learning. You get to choose which books you read, what topics you want to research, and more. I also have a lot of discussion and debates in my class, and we all know freshmen like to argue. We will do some group assignments that let you talk to your classmates as well. When we are learning a challenging concept, I always try to find funny or silly ways to help explain it. I use YouTube videos to help make sense of these tricky topics. The final reason you should choose me to be your teacher is that you will get to see pictures of Nike and Piper. Where else can you get pictures of the cutest dogs in the whole wide world? This is why you should pick me! Sincerely, Mrs. B
