New Coaching Fresno State soccer has gone through a whole lot of changes with in the last four years. The team has come along way. From being placed almost last in the WAC conference to now competing for the number one and two spot in conference play to tournament play. Since the coaches had entered in the year 2004, there has been nothing but progress for the bulldogs. With a new coacing staff there is a whole differenet approach to how the teams train and practice. Coach Springthorpe has one many area of focus that is to be completed before the team ever gets to training camp. And that is “fitness.” Once fitness is completed, there is nothing that the bulldogs need to worry about except for tactical soccer
