Delivering multiple benefit messages – A partnership between the grains industry and NRM Improving production and management on the dune/swale systems of Upper and Eastern Eyre Peninsula.

Multiple Benefit Messages On dune swale land systems inputs are made according to soil type and growers adopt sustainable grazing management regimes

Areas of Focus Sustainable grazing management Crop establishment on non wetting sands Promoting Variable Rate technology Establish a new young farmers group Increase knowledge of soil and crop nutrition

Flow on effects Increase farmer knowledge of crop and soil nutrition Linked with GRDC for Rob Norton to speak at Kimba GRDC update. Followed by Murlong group discussion, using 4R Nutrition books. Linking BCG GRDC More Profit from Nutrition with UEP farmers. Andy Bates spoke on “Nutrition 101” at Charra Ag Bureau, Lock, Minnipa and Wudinna farmer groups, this including two GS32 crop nutrition walks.
