Studies in the Book of Nehemiah Hard choices… Committing to work Studies in the Book of Nehemiah (Chapter 2:1-10)

The choice to accept responsibility “His tears watered the seeds of providence”. Nehemiah’s great disappointments became the occasion for one of God’s greatest appointments! What Nehemiah learned was that he was the man he had been praying for!

The choice to take risks A leader has to leverage his power. A leader has to take risks!

The choice to sacrifice The choice to change circumstances. The choice to invest time. The choice to invest effort.

The choice to seek the welfare of others over self The final sentence of the book says everything, “Remember me, Oh my God, for good!” All Nehemiah’s efforts were for the praise of God and the good of His people.
