Trustworthiness Authenticity: orienteering can be used in many real life situations. Knowing how to use a compass can be vital if lost in the wilderness. Knowing how to use a map can be beneficial when traveling or helping others. Validity: all the assessments we used met our lesson objectives. Practicality: all the assessments were low cost, environmentally friendly (not much paper used), and quick and easy to administer. Reliability: the grades are not effected by other students, therefore each instructor who teaches this unit should yield the same results.
