STATE REVIEW VISITS What is Expected

Review Visits - The Context To know how our programmes are doing. Expectation of Parliamentary Committees. Resolve pending issues with States. Provide honest feedback to States. Promote cross learning from States. Promote greater convergent action. Make Divisions appreciate other programmes.

The Structure for feedback National Level Institutional-individual monitors – sample of Gram Panchayats in all district covered each year. Research and Evaluation Studies. JS led State Reviews Common Review Mission – once a year, covering 12 States. Transaction based MIS; EFMS; PFMS.

State Review Visits Team of four persons under AS/JS/C/EA/Adv. Members drawn from different Divisions. 2 day visit One full day of field visit 2 districts to be covered – 2 member teams. Look at all programmes in 2 Gram Panchayats. Visit Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.
