Figure 2 Superoxide release measured by ferricytochrome c reduction using tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)–primed neutrophils from a healthy donor. Neutrophils were stimulated with immunoglobulin G fractions from anti-PR3 (▪, N = 17) and anti-MPO–positive patients (▵, N = 14) and from healthy controls (•, N = 16). Immunoglobulin G fractions from the ANCA-positive patients were obtained during active vasculitis prior to the start of immunosuppressive treatment. Data are mean values ± SEM.
