Context Prior to 2012, HCS had no district digital sign strategy. In 2012, HCS developed a two-tiered strategy. Emplace digital signs in existing schools, prioritizing by type (High Schools, P8/Middle/Jr. High Schools, Elementary Schools) and proximity to key road arteries in Huntsville. Emplace digital signs in all new schools as part of the construction program. Since 2012, HCS has completed two sets of digital signs, differentiated by control software. Signs are located at the following schools: Williams campus Chapman School Johnson HS Grissom HS Huntsville HS Columbia HS Hampton Cove campus ASFL Jones Valley ES Lee HS Milton Frank Stadium Tonight I will provide an overview of Operations Directorate activity since May 2014, looking at seven discrete categories of operations in which my departments are simultaneously engaged.
