Philosophy 2200 Spring, 2016 Class #16 May 3rd Return Reflective Essays. Congratulations, job well done. Discuss Objectives Paper/Class Discussion Presentations by Haley and Emily (Buddhism) Presentation by Cody (Christianity) – if time permits Reading Assignment is Chapter 1 & 2

Objectives Essays The essay should be at least FIVE full pages based on 12 point type and 1” margins. Essays that are not at least the required length will suffer SERIOUS grade degradation. In your essay, you must identify one of the four first objectives and demonstrate how you achieved it during the course, perhaps but not necessarily through your individual reflective essays. To do so, you may use excerpts from your individual reflective essays, as appropriate.

Class Presentations Every student individually will make a class presentation describing to the class which objective they feel they most effectively achieved in the class. I will be expecting each individual presentation to last approximately 10-15 minutes with discussion. Using power points are not necessary, but may be a good idea. If desired, but you may be creative, as appropriate.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to: CLASS OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:   Explain what is meant by worldview analysis and apply this analysis in describing and understanding the major religious worldviews represented in this class.
