11 2003 Strategy for Europe The basis of the strategy is a three-pronged attack on three levels: 1. Working group level: Launch the arguments into the right committees, SE24 and TG 28 2. Top Level ERO/ECC Ensure they get the message that IEEE answers precisely their need. 3. Top Level ETSI: Arrange (hopefully joint) backing from IEEE for a joint approach to ECC/ETSI, pushing the argument on the basis of world harmonisation, and speed and efficiency( don’t re-invent the wheel). 4.
