Welcome to First Grade! Miss Gaddis Mrs. Webb

Rules Be Kind! Follow Directions! Listen Carefully! Work Quietly!

Consequences/Punishments First time: Warning (Yellow) **This is no BIG DEAL!! We don’t care if you make one mistake! Second time: Sit 10 minutes of recess. Third time: Sit 15 minutes of recess, demerit or demerits, and a note to parents.

Rewards Green = 2 Stars Yellow = 2 Stars Purple = 1 Star Red = NO STARS!! DEMERITS 10 stars = Trip to the Treasure Chest! Nine Week Reward Parties (92 or above can go to PARTY!!!!!) Friday lunch in the room! Teacher Invitation only! Drive us crazy and you don’t get to come! Red definitely NOT coming!

Lining Up! Pet in front! Except Lunchtime! Stand Facing Forward! Hands down! QUIET! NO PASSING!! You tattle, you both go to the back!

Hall and Restroom Behavior! Hallway = NO TALKING! **sit crisscross applesauce and backs against the wall. The pet can start Quiet Mouse! Restroom = Hawk Zone 1! **No horseplay (running, climbing, hitting, shoving, etc.)

Lunchroom Behavior! Listen to the lunch ladies because we do ask about behavior every day! They can move you on the behavior chart, they can take recess, they can give demerits! Good comments earn rewards!

Playground Rules! Sit down on the merry-go-round! Sit down on the slides! Do not go near woods or driveway! Arguments will be settled by students during their recess time with teacher help if necessary. All kids can play!

Morning Routine: Hang up backpack! Lay folder on teacher’s desk! Hand teacher notes or money! Begin work on desk! During Announcements, NO TALKING! PERIOD!!!
