The 1999 Yorkshire Floods

Who’s in the bag? Each group have a character in their bag. Your task is to work out: Who is in the bag? What happened to them? What problems are they now facing? Write your answers on the sheet provided.

Who’s in the bag? Each group must introduce their character to the rest of the class. Complete your table about the different characters.

Hot Seating Decide on one person from your group to play the role of your character. Dress them up as the character and prepare them to answer questions in role from other groups. Imagine you are a newspaper reporter writing a story on the Yorkshire floods. Note down a list of questions to ask all the other characters in the table provided.
