6Y 12-13-2016 Tuesday The Thirteen Colonies Objective: Create lessons that will teach about the thirteen colonies. Agenda: Prayer Do Now: What is the point of a class lesson? What is the best way to start a lesson? Why? What is the best way to end it? Why? More instructions on lesson planning. Lesson Plan Templates and worksheets/quizzes/etc are due to me by Friday end of day. Continue research and lesson planning. Be prepared to present your lessons by Monday. Homework: work on your projects/lessons.

Lesson Planning Let’s go over the template. Lessons should be 20-25 minutes long. Try not to go too much over or under. You may lose points. Consider any worksheets/ quizzes/etc. You need to give me master copies by Friday in order for it to be ready for your presentations. If you are going to give quizzes at the end of the lesson, limit them to 5-7 questions, be prepared to grade them, and keep them to the following: Multiple choice Fill in the blank with a word bank Matching True or False
