WFD reporting process (1) WFD reporting resources available since October 2009 http://water.eionet.europa.eu/schemas/dir200060ec/resources/ Guidance, tools and templates HelpdeskWFD@atkinsglobal.com Issues log updated regularly Full-day training session held on 4th February at EEA Covering both process and contents Attended by 62 experts from 25 Member States + Norway

WFD reporting process (2) RBMP reporting expected by 22 March 2010 comprising Textual information and data according to agreed XML schemas Geographic information (GIS shapefiles) RBMPs, Programmes of measures and background information All the information to be uploaded into WISE (EEA’s Reportnet system) Request for nomination of Reportnet data reporters by 26th February Replies received to date from AT, BE(W), EE, DE, IE Confirmation letter produced by the system to be printed and sent officially through the Permanent Representation (WISE Reporting Arrangements agreed by the WFD Committee in 2007)

Next meeting of the WG D will be held in Brussels on 28 April 2010 (meeting list will be updated accordingly) Thank you for your attention ...and please remember that good reporting is a prerequisite for a fair Commission assessment !
