Journal Entry #73 Title: Turing Prose Into Poetry Topic: Food You will write about your favorite food, your favorite meal, your favorite dessert for approximately 3 minutes. Then, circle key words. Next, add 3 literary devices and compose a poem. You have 7 minutes to write your poem. Be ready to share. You may not sit there and do nothing. Use your brain and think!

A question was asked, so a question mark must be used. used to love: The past tense of to use is used. Words shouldn’t be written in all uppercase. Yum!: Yum is an interjection and can stand alone as a sentence. their: While there refers to a place, their refers to possession/belonging. Caesar wraps: Caesar is a proper noun (name) and is capitalized. Wraps was misspelled badly: Badly is an adverb and is used to describe the verb craving. Man,: Commas are used to separate introductory elements from the rest of the sentence. because I: Cause is improperly used here.
