Do not wait. Turn in any signed paperwork to the homeroom bin. If you are not eating, you must read something of your choice. HOMEROOM = SILENCE

Language Arts – Warm Up 11/09/18 Personal Narrative Rough Drafts First, submit any missing work you may have (pre-writing packet, SpringBoard sheet pages 40-41, “The Landlady” packet and/or B.C.R. ½ sheet). Finish your rough draft and show it to me by today! Check your rough draft using the checklist provided to you on Monday. Extra copies are on the table in the back. Important Dates! Don’t Forget: Friday (11/09) - Progress Reports go home (6 total). Monday (11/12) – Personal Narrative Final Drafts are Due

Language Arts – Work Session 11/09/18 Essential Question: How is change significant? What makes a good story? Standard: ELACC6RL3 – Describe how a particular story’s or drama’s plot unfolds in a series of episodes as well as how the characters respond or change as the plot moves toward a resolution.

Language Arts – Work Session 11/09/18 Today’s Tasks Step 1 – Finish writing your complete rough draft in your I.A.N. on pages 129-132. Step 2 – Review what you’ve written using the checklist provided to you Monday. Step 3 – If you’re missing any of the parts, revise your rough draft. Step 4 – You and a partner will review one another’s rough drafts using the orange checklist. See me for more details on this step and to obtain the necessary materials. Step 5 – Begin typing your final draft into Word on Office 365. Look at the board for more details.
