Market surveillance responsibility belongs to Member states Allows m/states to tailor their practices to suit their own circumstances but …… difficult to do in isolation need to share best practice and data need to exchange information on specific cases need to have informal practices to back up the formal ones (PED Arts 6-8) Industry operates across borders – so should we!
