Tens Ones 24 + 7 _______ 31 1 Double Digit Addition Regrouping Put the ten you Made into the box And add the new Ten to the original number Tens Ones 24 + 7 _______ 31 1 Put the number in the t chart in rods and cubes If you can make a ten Out of your ones Circle the ten and move It to the tens place You cannot have a ten In your ones place So ten or more you must Regroup!!! After you circle your Ten move it to your Tens place and x it Out then count how Many ones you have left And how many tens
