Unit 1: Vocabulary Notes Globe- a spherical model of the earth. It is more accurate than a map. Hemisphere- is half of a sphere Product Map – gives information about a geographic region’s products and natural resources.

Grid- Divides a map into sections. Latitude- runs East to West Longitude- runs North to South.
