Coba, Mexico Coba is an ancient city located in Quintanna Roo, Mexico. It is situated in the Mayan Jungle The site has many pyramid temples – the highest is 42m. In it’s height, it had 50,000 inhabitants. Coba traded extensively with other Mayan communities, particularly the ones further south along the Caribbean coast in what is now Belize and Honduras. It utilized the ports of Xcaret, Xel-Há, Tancah, and Tulum.
