Development of ideas

Produce a still life shoot for an ad campaign! Recap: Assignment Produce a still life shoot for an ad campaign! ‘Evolution’ is a brand new company which requires you to produce some promotional material to launch their new products. You must follow the brief to the letter and produce all the relevant work required. Firstly you need to decide what kind of company Evolution is going to be. You must produce: A page of relevant imagery of existing companies/brands similar to your chosen one with annotations and evaluations of their style, logo, colour scheme, lighting etc. A page of logo designs; vary the font, colour, style, imagery to encapsulate ‘Evolution’ A final logo design Development of a still life shoot advertising the product A final Advert

Now you have investigated still life photography in different ways, you should now develop your own outcome using these techniques and influences to help you. Create a mind map to help you remember the successful techniques and any photographer influences you might want to use. To gain marks you need to build on what you have already done. Don’t do anything completely new! Demonstrate clearly to the examiner where your ideas have come from.

Produce a shoot that explores your ideas for an outcome Produce a shoot that explores your ideas for an outcome. Print out thumbs, annotate and evaluate. Print out larger versions of the best ones. Then develop these further by producing another shoot. Or You might have a couple of ideas and want to produce a shoot for each idea and use the most successful one as an outcome. You may find it useful to research another still life photographer to help you develop your ideas. Document this in your sketchbook

Think about how this will be presented. Print out your outcome at least A5 size on good quality photo paper to be mounted Think about how this will be presented.
