Be Respectful Understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, whether you agree with it or not Don’t interrupt or talk when others are talking – that includes the teacher and other students in the class Don’t use inappropriate language
Be on Time Be sitting in your seat before the tardy bell rings If you are not on time to class then you will get a written warning [write-up] Two written warnings [write-ups] will result in a day in ISS
Be Prepared Have all your materials for class when you come to class. I will tell you the day before if you need to bring your textbook to class Supplies you must have: Binder Pencil [or pen] Paper Geography classes: markers or colored pencils, folder
Clean Up After Yourself Snacks or drinks are allowed IF it is not distracting and you put trash in the trashcan when you are done Any supplies borrowed or used need to be put away or
Cell Phone Policy Every student will be assigned a slot number for the phone organizer on the cabinet Students will place their cell phone in their assigned slot at the beginning of class until the end of class If caught with a cell phone, students will receive a written warning and have their phone taken until the end of the school day 2 warnings results in ISS 3 warnings results in the student having their phone privilege revoked from the school
Hall Passes Every student receives 3 hall passes every 6 weeks Each hall pass is worth 3 points if unused Up to 9 points possible if no hall pass is used
Absent/Missed Work If you miss class time, your name will be written on a post-it note and posted on the calendar for the day you missed Find the folder for work on the day(s) that you missed
