CEILBOT Vasek Brabec Julio Cordón Muñoz

CHALLENGES Navigation: motion on the ceiling avoiding lamps, walls, etc. Not infinite loops. Sensing: the robot needs some way to determine the position of the fire, the walls, etc. Fire Fighting: the fire must be extinguished. Autonomy: the robot must be able to both navigate and interact without any human assistance. Call fire fighters Report fire properties

QUALITATIVE REQUERIMENTS Feeding: Battery and charging Motion: engine, vacuum or magnetic device. Sensors: detection obstacles, smoke Fire fighting: arm, bottle of fire extinguisher Phone

2 different concepts 1.Concept Vacuum principle Parking slot (recharging place) 2.Concept Magnetic – permanent magnets Needs recharging plug Special magnetic ceiling

OBSTACLES Lamps Walls Projector Cables Air conditioner Arm´s obstacles: tables, shelves, etc.
