Our topic for today TOTAL REWARDS… Employer Employee Cost External We are looking at rewards from multiple perspectives Think holistically- Total Rewards is more than pay Total Reward Fixed pay Variable pay Employee benefits Personal Growth & Development Work-life balance First box – Total Rewards is more than base pay. Ask them to think about all of the rewards they receive using the Nestle Total Reward model Second box – We are conducting a review the current Total Rewards proposition to all employees within our market, considering: Our business strategy and leadership perspectives Typical market practice to ensure we are competitive Costs to ensure we get value for money for our rewards spend Employee opinions to ensure we deliver the right total rewards proposition to our people Total Rewards is not just about pay and benefits Today we want to hear from you 1

Objectives of this project Reviewing rewards in our Nestlé Market Today we would like to get your views on Total Rewards at Nestlé We have 5 key areas to cover today: The attractions of working for Nestlé The elements of Total Rewards at Nestlé The value of Nestlé's Total Rewards proposition Communicating Total Rewards Any other business you wish to discuss

The attractions of working for Nestlé What factors originally attracted you to working at Nestlé? To what extent has working for Nestlé lived up to your expectations? Was the rewards package a key factor in attracting you to Nestlé? Is Nestlé able to compete for Talent in this Market?

The elements of Total Rewards Which are the top elements of Total Rewards in our Market? Total Reward component Priority Perceived monetary value What are the most important component of rewards? Which is the most important? Try to capture the order of priority for rewards You may find that very important parts of reward are of a low monetary value (i.e. flexible working) Note what has not been mentioned (i.e. did they refer to holidays, dental benefits etc)

The elements of Total Rewards How would you rate each of those components against our guiding principles? Guiding principles 1. Supports the business in meeting its goals 2. Transparent and easy for employees to understand 3. Competitive against the market 4. Links rewards to performance 5. Attracts, retains and engages employees 6. Supports Nestlé's culture and corporate behaviours Use your Total Rewards review as a guide to prompt the discussion (i.e. pay, bonus, holiday, pension etc.)

Communicating Total Rewards How much communication do you receive around Total Rewards in general? Too much / not enough / about right What types of communication do you currently about rewards? Corporate / HR-specific / location-specific / etc. How do you prefer to receive information? (Print / email / web / mobile / face-to-face) Can you recall a memorable rewards communication you received at Nestlé or another employer? What made it memorable? What information would help you better understand your Nestlé rewards? Did you receive sufficient information about the rewards proposition offered by Nestlé when you joined? If not, what was lacking? Where do you go when you have a question about your total rewards package?
