2018 National Awards Ceremony

National Mary Potter Award (from 2019) The National Mary Potter Award celebrates staff and volunteers who are exemplars of the Spirit of Calvary. Venerable Mary Potter herself reminded us, “We have a power within us of doing good, of living our lives for God and the good of those around us.” Named for the foundress of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, the winner of this annual national award embodies the spirit, passion, drive and enthusiasm for the care and compassion of others (‘being for others’) that Venerable Mary Potter displayed in her commitment to the care of the sick, the dying and those in need.

NCEO’s Leadership Award The National CEO Leadership Award recognises and celebrates leaders who demonstrate behaviours that exemplify our values, transform people and have broad and lasting impact on those they lead. This award recognises leaders who demonstrate the courage to be present, engage and respond effectively to disruptive events and inspire their team to give their best all the time.

Calvary is pleased to be able to recognise excellence in both clinical safety and work health and safety initiatives across the organisation. The improvements to both clinical and WHS have been well documented and the Safety Excellence awards provide a well-earned pause and recognition for those special persons/teams for their commitment and efforts.
