Sectarianism in Scottish Football by Stuart Conway

What is Sectarianism? Sectarianism is bigotry, discrimination, or hatred TOWARDS A CERTAIN group, such as a religion, class, OR political movement.

Goals and Objectives My Goal was to learn about sectarianism that has been haunting Scottish Football. Another was to improve my use of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. My objective was to show the figures that I have found on sectarianism in Scotland and how it came about. My objectives were to put what I have learned from excel, PowerPoint, Word and access into use.

Success and Failures Success: I was able to find out a lot about Sectarianism in Scotland and the history about it. I was able to find many reliable sources that I could use to help me put as much information as I could. Obstacles: I found it difficult to find lots of interesting facts because the information that I did find was just boring statistics.

Project Description I was able to write a 5 page paper using proper APA citations, where I was able to write a detailed reliable resources. A PowerPoint that includes my findings from reliable sources on sectarianism in Scottish Football. A chart from excel that includes the statistics of crime records in Scotland that were sectarian related.

Lessons Learned That there was a lot more sectarianism that has went on in Scotland that I first thought. The Government are passing lots of legislation to help fight sectarianism. If you educate the young, then there will be less sectarianism because they will know that you judge someone on their personality not their religion or what team they support.
