Act 1 Character Journals Once you’re finished, you may continue working on your IXL for the week: D.3 Choose your character (Romeo, Juliet, Lady Capulet, Capulet, Benvolio, Mercutio, Paris, Tybalt, or the Nurse) Write a journal entry pretending to be that character – make sure you capture their personality! (6 points) Summarize the events of Act I through that character’s perspective. (8 points) Remember, even if your character wasn’t there, you’ll need to come up with a reason for them knowing about the major events of Act I.
