Choose the Anchor Text Because of the human tendency to inject our ideas into the message, the safest way to prepare a sermon is to let God’s word chart the course.

Three Focus Questions #1. A simple point – “Can I draw a single, simple point from these verses?”

Three Focus Questions #2. A representative portion – “Do the isolated verses correctly represent the biblical author’s thoughts?”
