Western Electricity Coordinating Council SDS Quorum Issues No quorum on September 27, 2018 or November 1, 2018 Could not approve new charter Proposed edits this week Western Electricity Coordinating Council

Current Quorum Requirements “A quorum for meetings shall be a simple majority of Governing Body members and at least one voting representative from half of the WECC Member Classes (or more) that have three or more designated DS members.” 6 of 11 Governing Body members and 2 of classes 1-3 represented (classes 4 and 5 do not have more than 3 members on DS). Western Electricity Coordinating Council SDS Recommendation “A quorum for meetings shall be a third of committee members and a third of the sitting governing body members, representing at least three of the WECC Member Classes.” 15 of 45 DS members, 4 of 11 Governing Body members and 3 member classes represented (regardless of quantity of members in that class).
