Mary may have not understood… In spite of her unique relationship with Jesus, Mary may not have completely understood Him right away John 19:25-27 – At the cross… Jesus is about to die, though innocent What do you think Mary is thinking during these moments? Mary may have not understood… Mary knew who Jesus was, but she may not have understood right away what He had come for… …and she was not the only one! His brothers – John 7:2-5 The Apostles – Matt 16:5-7; Lk 9:52-56; 18:31-34 John the Baptist – Lk 7:18-20 Is there a chance Mary too would not have understood?
