 But we continue to preach because we have the same kind of faith the psalmist had when he said, “I believed in God, so I spoke.”[c] 14 We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus,[d] will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself together with you. 15 All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory. 2 Corinthians 2:13-15

13 As for us, we can’t help but thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first[d] to experience salvation—a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth. 14 He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Thessalonians 2:13,14

One of the eternal purposes of God is to save people through Christ One of the eternal purposes of God is to save people through Christ. The clear commission of Christ for every single disciple is to make disciples not just generally, but of all nations— every ethno in the world. So regardless of where you live, how is your life going to impact every nation, tribe, tongue, and people in the world? This is not a question for extraordinary missionaries; this is a question for ordinary disciples. Consider the following ways you can play a part in the spread of God’s glory to the ends of the earth. David Platt

How will I pray for the nations? You and I have an opportunity to be a part of what God is doing around the world from our knees in our homes to our weekly prayer meetings. So let’s pray passionately for God’s Kingdom to come and will to be done across the earth. In our case we can pray faithfully for Israel, Mexico, Kurdistan and our own Valencia county.

How will I give to the nations? In general only 5% of church budgets go to missions. Can we sacrificially give more to increase the glory of His name?

How will I go to the nations? In many cases the nations have come to us. Consider going on a short term mission trip. Consider corresponding with a person from a foreign country.

9 After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. 10 And they were shouting with a great roar,
