Crossing Knutton road (Thomas) Mr Proctor is there to make sure you cross safely. He wears a high-vis yellow jacket and stands in the middle of the road to stop traffic. He tells us when it’s safe to cross. Always cross Knutton Road with Mr Proctor.

Crossing other roads If you need to cross other roads, always use zebra crossings, pelican crossings or traffic lights. BUT – you must use these properly and safely. Always wait for the ‘green man’ and buzzer before you cross. Always check the traffic has stopped or it is clear.

When crossing a road … (e) It’s better to cross the road with an adult (t) Always use the crossings properly and safely (e) Stick to the crossing – never go diagonally!!! (t) Never run across the road – you might trip (e) Don’t be scared – always stay calm!
