Necessity for Reviewing (1) -- Circumstances Surrounding the TTC -- - The ITU-T-oriented committee configuration of the TCC does not match the recent external situations. - The TTC has started to work mainly on the IP technology and in more diverse fields. - The TTC should reinforce its organization for cooperating with outside organizations (such as the GSC). Technical Board (tentative name) (1) - Set up the Technical Board as a core organization for handling the TTC’s strategies for standardization. - Configure the Technical Board with the chairman and vice-chairman of the Technical Assembly, manager (tentative name), and secretariat. - Allocate the manager (tentative name) as a promoter for standardization in a specific field (category) and put Working Groups in charge of the manager.
