Rotation & Revolution Mars is four planets from the Sun. It is one of the four main rocky planets. It orbits around the sun in 686 to 687 earth days. It has similar seasonal changes like Earth, but lasting twice as long because its orbit round the Sun.

Distance from the sun Mars is red because it is rusty an has a lot of iron in the soil. The average distance between the sun and the earth is 149 million kilometers.

Size & Density Mars is a very small planet compare to earth. Its radius is about half the Earth’s, and it has approximately 10% the mass of the Earth. Mars is 3.94 grams per cubic centimeter. There are so many ways to measure the size of the Red Planet. The Diameter Mars is 6,792 km across. MARS HAS A MASS OF 7.08X1020 TONS.

MARS IS MORE COLDER THAN EARTH Temperature MARS’S SURFACE TEMTUPURE AVERAGES -80°F DEGREES MARS IS MORE COLDER THAN EARTH

MARS HAS NO MAGNETIC FIELD Composition THE OUTER SURFACE OF MARS IS MAINLY BASAT FRM THE VALCAONES ON ITS SURFACE MARS HAS NO MAGNETIC FIELD MARS MANTLE IS DORMANT

THE ATMOSTOPHRE IS TOO THIN TO BREATH Atmosphere THE ATMOSTOPHRE IS TOO THIN TO BREATH MARS ATMOSTHERES IS VERY THIN WITH CARBON DIOXIDE

Moons

Physical Characteristics THE SURFACE OF MARS IS DRY, ROCKY, AND MOSTLY CVERED WITH IRON RICH DUST The planet has a very thin atmosphere consisting mainly of carbon dioxide, with some nitrogen and argon

Life Style On Mars Life on mars would be cold, because mars average temperature is -63 degrees Celsius A human couldn’t on mars because of all the carbon dioxide Mars has no atmosphere

What life looks like on Mars Hopes are beginning to dim for finding life on the red planet Life on mars would be cool. But would need a lot of plants and food, and transportation to survive.
