DataMap Roles DataMap General Access Everyone in the District should have this role This role is assigned at the District Level Teachers Only have the ability to view information for their Students Principals Ability to view information for all the students in their Building Guidance Only able to view information for the students assigned to them in StudentInformation Superintendent Will be able to view the information for all the students in their district “Data analytics integrated with ProgressBook Suite to improve student academic performance!”

DataMap Roles DataMap Student Admin Given to staff members who need to view more students than their job function in StudentInformation allows -or- A staff member who does not have students assigned to them in StudentInformation But needs to review student data and progress in DataMap Consider: Does this person need to see all the students in the Building? Assigned at the Building Level Does this person need to have access to see all the students in the District? Assign at the District Level “Data analytics integrated with ProgressBook Suite to improve student academic performance!”

DataMap Roles DataMap Assessment Admin Given to the person(s) who is responsible for loading and maintaining the data in DataMap This role is assigned at the District Level Generally one person in the district This person will need to have the Administrator Accounts for the district to all Assessment sites. “Data analytics integrated with ProgressBook Suite to improve student academic performance!”

DataMap Roles DataMap Intervention Program Admin Generally given to one person per Building The staff member who is responsible for: Creating the names of the Intervention Programs used in the Building or District Ability to create a template for the Intervention Program(s)/RtI tear Select the RIMP programs codes to be used by the District This role is assigned at the District Level “Data analytics integrated with ProgressBook Suite to improve student academic performance!”

DataMap Roles DataMap Sensitive Data Access This role allows the staff member to filter and identify students who have been identified as Economically Disadvantaged District Decision Some districts only allow a small handful of staff members the privilege of knowing this information Some districts feel all staff members have the right to know this information for it is for the betterment of the student Assigned at the District Level “Data analytics integrated with ProgressBook Suite to improve student academic performance!”

DataMap Roles DataMap Teacher Admin This role is only used for the DataMap Assessment Comparison page when selecting Teacher view Do I need to view information for more teachers than my original job function in StudentInformation will allow? Teacher Teachers may only view information for themselves, they are not able to select and view other teachers Principal Access to all the teachers in their Building Assigned at the Building or District level “Data analytics integrated with ProgressBook Suite to improve student academic performance!”

DataMap Roles DataMap Student Objective Reviewer Only needed if your district will be using the Student Learning Objectives (SLO) process This role is assigned to staff members who will be responsible for reviewing the Teacher’s Student Objectives Will this staff member be reviewing Student Objectives only from teachers in a Building? Assign at the Building Level Will this staff member be reviewing Student Objectives from all the teachers in the District? Assign at the District Level “Data analytics integrated with ProgressBook Suite to improve student academic performance!”

DataMap Roles DataMap Student Objective Reviewer Admin Only needed if your district is using the Student Learning Objectives (SLO) process Same abilities as the Student Objective Reviewer All Principals of a district using Student Objectives must have this role Allows the Principal to view and export the final Teacher rating for eTPES as well as review each Student Objective May also give this role to staff member(s) that need the ability to over-ride an Approved Student Objective to Re-Review. Assign at the Building or District Level “Data analytics integrated with ProgressBook Suite to improve student academic performance!”
