ACPA – Safety Chairman’s Award No Go Gauges – Bench Grinder

PROBLEM: After using bench grinder the tool rest and tongue guards would need to be adjusted. Employees would not know for sure if they were within 1/8” gap on the tool rest and ¼” gap on the tongue guard.

SOLUTION: Fabricated No Go Gauge

How to use the No Go Gauge No Go Gauge Video

Advantages: Tool is right at the bench grinder. Instructions posted at bench grinder. Easy to use. Assure Tool Rest and Tongue Guard are correctly adjusted.
