A.P. U.S. Government FRQ Study Prompts 1. Reread Federalist #10. What are Madison’s concerns? How does he propose to deal with these concerns? How was democracy in the U.S. changed over the past 200 years plus? 2. Why are elections considered linkage institutions? How do age and education relate to elections? Know some things that affect voter turnout. What is another linkage institution and how does it create a link? 3. What is selective incorporation. Be able to give specific examples of 1st, 6th, and 9th Amendment cases relevant to incorporation. 4. Know the provisions set down by the War Powers Resolution and constitutional conflicts that have been created by it.
