Math Mrs. Humphrey Teacher Notes Spelling Words Language Arts We are working hard to prepare our Word Study groups! Students have completed their DSA and teachers are now working hard to develop a curriculum for their groups. We continue to work on a clear beginning, middle, and end to our writing. We are also working hard to capitalize and use appropriate punctuation. Teacher Notes Math Please remember to sign your child’s agenda each night and support them with their homework. Supplemental reading goals are 20 minutes per night. We continue to explore place value as we also begin to delve into ordering and comparing numbers. Science/ S.S. At this time, we are learning about the Scientific Method. The children enjoyed Dr. Slunt who came and shared her “Foaming Pumpkin” experiment. Important Dates Oct 16 Chuck E.
