A plc may have the objective of Growth.(id) It may grow by opening new branches or by taking over/merging with another firm.(1) Explain possible objectives of a plc. A plc may have the objective of Growth (id). It may do this in an attempt to increase market share or to dominate the market. Growth may also enable a plc to survive and resist future takeover.(1)
