Children accumulate 60 minutes moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA)/day (More than walking) Key points: Guidelines call for children to get 1 hr of PA a day This requirement includes PA that is more than a walk Neither boys nor girls are anywhere close to getting these recommended levels Activity goes down as children get older
Children Spend SO much time in SDCs per week 40 Hours/week 15 Hours/week
Children attend SDCs for almost as many hours in 12 weeks as they do in ASPs over 9 months 540 480 Hours Hours
