Jeans for Veterans Spring 2010 GEB 3031 Team Endurance

Forming of the team We formed our Team, which includes the following members: Andrea Spencer Diane Marks Howard E. Rodriguez Erica Oliphant Lina Khaled

We formed a team name

Team Endurance We voted on a project: Jeans for Veterans The Brevard Stand Down 2010 Organization Name: Brevard Veteran’s Memorial Center

Team Endurance Set up a standard meeting time

Team Endurance We set our team smart goal: Team Endurance will collect a minimum of 100 pairs of men’s jeans for the homeless Veterans to be distributed at the Brevard Stand Down event on March 20,2010.

Team Endurance Set our objectives and goals Diane collected jeans by contacting her church Advent Lutheran to be able to set up a box in the local lobby of the church in order to fulfill her goal. Andrea collected her jeans by contacting people on the internet, family, and friends.

Team Endurance Erica collected her donations from her local employer Portside Galley Lina collected her jeans donation by handing out flyers to her neighbors at Fountain Villas. Howard collected donation from Beef O’ Brady’s

Team Endurance Worked on our contingency plan

Team Endurance We made flyers to promote our goals.

Team Endurance Event On March 19,2010 we dropped off our jeans at the National Guard Armory and helped prepare for the event. On March 20,2010 we all attended the Brevard Stand Down event and helped hand out jeans and other items to the Homeless Veterans.

Team Endurance Overall goal that has been met We have exceeded our SMART Goal and have collected a total of 253 pairs of jeans worth $1265.
