ABC AFTER SCHOOL* THEORY OF ACTION The Challenge We Address Emerging careers in the STEM fields are growing and evolving, yet the workforce lacks diversity and some groups remain underrepresented. Youth from underrepresented communities have limited access to opportunities and resources to explore STEM, career, and college options. ABC After School creates opportunities for youth to explore hands-on STEM and college access activities, and builds life-long skills to explore college and career pathways. ABC After School is designed for students in upper elementary and secondary grades from underrepresented communities in one place and select satellite locations in another place.
