Learning Targets I can explain why Brutus asks the conspirators to join him in bathing their hands in Caesar’s blood. I can also infer what that blood may symbolize. I can identify two new character traits that are revealed in Antony after Caesar’s assassination. I can contrast Brutus and Cassius’s opinions about whether or not they should allow Antony to speak at Caesar’s funeral. I can analyze how Antony’s tone changes after the conspirators leave him alone with Caesar’s corpse.
