Short and Simple

NEVER READ FROM THE SLIDE BECAUSE WHAT IF I JUST STOOD HEAR AND READ THIS ENTIRE THING FROM THE SLIDE AND WASN’T EVEN FACING YOU? ARE YOU ASLEEP YET?

Main points ONLY One main point per slide

Bullet Points can Kill Practice Engage – bring the audience in. (Visuals, stories) Short and simple Never read from slide Main points or images only Passion, be excited

What’s wrong with this slide? Practice Practice makes perfect so you should practice at least three times before the presentation. Engage – bring the audience in. (Visuals, stories) Interesting antecdotes and stories that the audience can connect with will give the audience something to think about and be a part of. Short and simple If there is too much information on the slide people will drown in information and forget everything you are saying. Never read from slide If I read this slide to you, you would read it first and completely ignore me anyway. Main points or images only There are too many main points on this slide. Only one of these will likely be remembered. Passion, be excited There is no passion on this slide because the presenter will done on and on and on and on.
