Mrs. Jensen’s News April 25th – April 29th, 2019 We are learning! In reading, we read GOLDILOCK AND THE THREE BEARS. Our class put on 4 plays and acted out the story. Be sure to ask your child what character they played. We continued to focus on the letter Gg, along with consonant blends. Our words this week were a mix of review and new ones were added: one, two, three, four, five, ate, came, ride, so, be, all, get, went & eat. In math, we are continuing to compose and decompose numbers and understand number bonds. The play we attended at NDSCS on Thursday was wonderful. Ask your child to tell you about their favorite character and explain why. Please pay close attention to the important dates in May. ******* You are invited to our KINDERGARTEN PARTY. We are working on songs and dances for this celebration of our kindergarten year. Our CHAHINKAPA trip will be on the last day. We would love parents to join us for a picnic in the park and visit through the zoo. More details to follow. I wanted to get the dates out early enough for those that need advance notice.
