Fleet statistics Cooperation between DGMARE and Eurostat for the simplification of data collection. Eurostat has worked in order to assess the data prior to proceed with its dissemination

Fleet statistics Main findings: Harmonisation of definitions regarding the methods of calculation for the different variables (age of the fleet, etc) Looking for improvement on the completeness of the information (power, gear, etc)

Fleet statistics Structural changes in Eurobase: Currently there is only one dataset: Tonnage classes Power classes Age classes + Geo, time and unit (GT, Kw, Number)
