Why The Changes? 1. To co-ordinate ASSESSMENT across the province 2. To ensure that ASSESSMENT methods are the same amongst boards and between panels -consulted with many of the steak holders in education – business – researchers -over 10 years ago – interpretation is wide -changes apply province and across grades and panels 3. To address the concerns and input from parents, teachers, school boards, and other stakeholders 2
