The First Day Wednesday 17th August 2016 Arrive at school for 9.30am Children and adults welcome Children will be collected from school hall by their class teacher Collect children at 2.30pm from the school gate next to the Nursery

Day 2 Arrive at school for 8.55am. Children should enter playground unaccompanied from this day. Playground is supervised from 8.40am. Collection at 3.00pm. (Opposite the external door of the base)

The first few weeks … Getting to know other pupils, the class teacher and the classroom Learning classroom routines Two initial sounds every week Homework! Whole school assemblies P.E Kit

Helping your child Teach them how to put on jumpers, shoes, jackets etc. Labels on clothes, bags, shoes etc. Recognisable ribbon or key ring on school jacket. Encourage your child to look after their property.

Getting ready for School Tuesday 31st May (11.30am-12.30pm) School lunch for new pupils and parents Thursday 16th June (1.30pm - 2.30pm) Teddy Bears’ Picnic with current Primary 1s
