What to expect? Students are supervised at all times by camp staff, parents and teachers. Camp is secure, closed to outside visitors. Teachers will be at camp the entire time You don’t need to buy anything new for camp!
Camp Ohiyesa Information Located just beyond Camp Dearborn Secure Camp Setting Beautiful hilly, wooded area with lake Students sleep in cabins - separate cabins for boys and girls (bunk beds) Private showers Dining hall provides Halal and vegetarian food choices. Food is Excellent! Trained Camp Staff Lots of fun All activities are participation by choice. Students stay with their group throughout all activities
Chaperones 6 moms and 6 dads are needed to go to camp We would like two moms and two dads from each classroom Chaperones must be willing to spend the nights Chaperones must ride on the bus to camp Chaperones must take an active part and stay with students A volunteer form must be filled out in the office to attend any school field trip or to volunteer in a classroom Chaperones have FUN!
Current Campers and Chaperones We have 47 students going We currently have 3 moms and 3 dads We need 3 more moms and 3 more dads Students can still sign up to go to camp, the deadline is February 28th. All chaperones must attend a chaperone meeting in April.
Cost of Camp We will be fundraising at school with Little Caesar’s pizza kit 124.00 per student camper We have already collected 60.00 per student 62.00 dollars per chaperone Final camp cost will depend on money raised and money already donated
